Yes Cindy, they are available for you to use at your local access station. If you have not done so already, register with CMDN for a user name and password, and you will have access to this and hundreds of other programs.

I am an independent producer for our Ventura, California cable access television studio known as CAPS TV. As a big supporter of the sciences, I would be more than happy to see that Science Nation videos are shown in our area. I just want to clarify that I can download your programs and then play them locally on our cable access station.

Is anyone using the new National Science Foundation content that has been uploaded tro CMDN? I think this is just the first batch of content and you can expect much more in the future.

Is anyone interested in broadcasting old videos from the New Jersey Network (NJN) now NJTV archives. We’re trying to gauge interest and will help facilitate getting some of this video on the CMDN. This is a long term project but we (the PEG community) needs to demonstrate interest to get things moving.

Go back to the CMDN.TV website and click on the Register Page. You will receive and email reply and shorty afterwards you will get a login and password. Be sure to click on the Telvue Page under the vendors and watch you you use the Telvue system to upload and download videos.

I run JCETV in Jersey City (the educational PEG Channel). we have a princeton 3000 server and I am anxious to participate in the shared server to improve my programming as well as share some of ours.

There are currently 28 Episodes now available on the CMDN. All you need is a user name and password from the CMDN to gain access to all of these shows and the hundreds of other programming available on the CMDN.

You can upload and download to the CMDN even if the Leightronix Nexus does not do it internally. We are hoping the Leightronix will release a software update that will allow this feature like Telvue Servers do and Tightrope Servers (with the TRACM Software).
